Directions
Return north on 96 back to intersection at Shop 'N Save. Go left heading into Boothbay Harbor. Follow one way traffic on Townsend Avenue to library. Turn right and go approximately 1 mile. St. Andrews Hospital on left.

Site Details
Summer is congested, residential area, tourist resort. Best to go "off season". Easy walk-in access at either tide. Minimal current in the cove until you get out to the point or passage between mainland and Green Island. There it flows west and can become quite strong

Great place for accompanying non-divers to bide their time.

Special Notes
Maximum depth at high tide approximately 22 feet in the middle of the cove. Wonderful abundance of bottom life, easy access, generally good visibility with minimal current or tidal action.

Special Night Dive Notes
Good area for an easy night dive. Saw Long-finned Squid, Northern Lobster, Sea Ravens, Moon Jellies, Rock Crabs, etc. There is low to no current in this bay, so night diving is almost effortless.
